A lot of my day is spent around the dough mixer but can’t live without the coffee machine.

How did you come up with the name for your business?

As with all these things the best ideas come with a curry and lots of alcohol before deciding that I wanted to make pizzas in a horse trailer so smushed the two words together.

What advice do you have for someone going self-employed?

Do plenty of research and don’t doubt yourself. And always ask for help, there are plenty of local organisations and other small businesses to give the help and support to set up on your own.

What's your favourite thing to do in Doncaster when you're not in your business?

Having a 3 year old niece, we love meeting up for walks on Hatfield moors.

Working with and around food all the time, inevitably means spending time with family with plenty of food and drink too.

What do you love most about Doncaster?

I think its more the psyche of the locals. Its been a really tough 18 months but the true spirit of the area has come through. Everybody suddenly is caring about supporting local, keeping small businesses going and helping the overall community.

What's the best thing about being a local business owner?

The best thing I have found about being a local business owner is the support and loyalty from the local community. We never anticipated that we would get the amount of support, especially throughout lockdown as we have. Along with working with other small local businesses has really made it fun as well as rewarding.
